The American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) Fund is part of the federal comprehensive $1.9 TRILLION fund for PreK-12 education. It is the most incredible and truly historic amount of funds to ever assist education. These funds may be used retroactively from March 2020 on COVID related items for your classroom. Educator friends, this is our silver lining from COVID-19. There are 3 ESSER funds and we must use it or lose it over the next 2 ½ years!
To Iowa:
ESSER I=$77.6 million
ESSER II–$334 million
ESSER III=$775 million
