You will be asked to select one of the following membership types when you join IBA:

Active (M) – Any person engaged in conducting bands or teaching instrumental music. Annual Dues: $75

Associate (A) – Any person or firm interested in instrumental music. (Conference Exhibitors also select Associate). Annual Dues: $45

Retired (R) – Any band director or teacher of instrumental music who has retired from active teaching or conducting. Annual Dues: $30

Student (S) – Any person enrolled in a university or college in an instrumental music curriculum pursuant to the teaching of instrumental music. Annual Dues: $20

• The IBA membership year begins on July 1 and ends on June 30 annually. Members can begin renewing for the next year as early as February 1st, at which time they can also register for the annual conference.
• If you are creating a new account, we suggest using your personal email instead of school email, because that is more likely to stay current.
• If you’ve had an account with IBA in the last few years that has now lapsed, please try logging in before creating a new account. If you had an account prior to 2019, go ahead and join with a new account.
